This
position is in the landscape design and sales division of the Hawks Nursery Co.
This Landscape Architect/Project Director position requires an eager,
self-motivated person, capable of designing and selling both residential and
commercial projects. Creativity in
design, solid graphic and communication skills with knowledge of construction
techniques and midwest plant material are critical.
The position includes following a project from the initial client
contact, design and sales through to overseeing the aesthetic aspects of its
construction.
We
deal in a large variety of projects that range from $5,000 to over $300,000 in
and around southeastern Wisconsin. This
is a fast paced position with limitless opportunities.
Qualifications:
Must have a degree in Landscape
Architecture or Design with experience preferred. State
license or the ability to obtain one a plus.
Landscape
Architect /Designer Project Support
This position is vital to our
design / build process. This support person works with sales representatives in
all phases of design preparation. Includes gathering project and site
information ( i.e. Building location, grades, existing plant material and
locations of other site features), creating base maps, as well as
preliminary landscape concepts. This is a collaborative process between the
salesperson and support staff. This is a perfect position for a creative
Landscape Architect or Designer who loves to design but is not interested in
participating in a sales capacity. The majority of your time will be spent at
the design table or in the field, but occasionally you will be asked to
participate in sales presentations with a senior Landscape Architect.
Qualifications:
Graduate of Landscape Architecture or Landscape design, with experience
preferred. Must have excellent design and graphic skills, a creative mind, be
familiar with base map preparation and landscape construction techniques.
