A position in Hawks maintenance department has opened for a crew leader in plant bed maintenance, maintaining high-end residential and commercial properties.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of plant material( annuals, perennials, shrubs) necessary
Knowledge of and experience with small landscape equipment including line-trimmer, back-pack blower, edger, and gas hedger.
Must have experience leading a crew, and posses good communication skills.
Ability and willingness to work in all types of weather conditions, including rain and heat.
Wisconsin Pesticide Applicator License is required. A degree in horticulture or on-going schooling in horticulture a definite plus.

· Landscape Maintenance - Our crews are experienced at handling all facets of landscape maintenance including fertilizations, bed care, turf management and technical tree and shrub care.
· Garden Center - Our retail garden center is able to full-fill the needs of all gardening enthusiasts. We carry a substantial variety of gardening gifts, tools and over 5,000 varieties of plant material.
· Retail Landscape Design - This area of the company handles small to medium size landscape planning and installation sales as well as design and sales for our do-it-yourself clientele.
· Nursery - Hawks purchases all of its plant material from premier growers through out the country. We handle over five million dollars worth of plants each year. The nursery staff receives, maintains and assembles all plant orders for the design/build and retail departments.
